Setting Your Watch
When you first receive your watch, it will probably need to be set to the correct time. Check the correct time on another watch or clock. Gently pull out the crown and turn it until the time is correct. Then push the crown back in. Twist the crown forward just a bit, and then make sure the second hand starts ticking.

Water Resistance
Your watch is water resistant to 30 meters. This means that while you are wearing your watch, you can wash your hands, take a bath or shower, go out in the rain or go swimming. Swimming in chlorinated water is OK. Swimming in salt water is not recommended. DO NOT PULL OUT THE CROWN WHEN THE WATCH IS UNDER WATER OR IS WET.

Battery
Your watch is powered by a tiny battery that will need to be replaced every two to three years. You will know when it is time to replace your battery when the second hand on your watch suddenly stops ticking. Take your watch to a reliable watch repair dealer when this needs to be done, as the back of the watch will have to be removed and carefully resealed once the new battery is in place. Never remove the back of the watch by yourself.

Important Note
After battery replacement, or whenever the case is opened, the gasket must be replaced, the crown and crystal checked, and the case must be resealed under pressure and tested, to ensure continued water resistance. This must be done by a qualified repair specialist.
